
Terberg DTS Fire and Rescue Division are proud to be supporting the charitable work of Operation Florian with the contribution of a Mercedes 4×4 Fire Fighting Vehicle; to help the organisation improve the fire safety in some of the poorest regions around the world.
Operation Florian was established as a charity in 1995 (Charity Number 1149445). It is a UK Fire Service Humanitarian Charity working to promote the protection of life amongst communities in need, worldwide, by the provision of equipment and training to improve fire fighting and rescue capabilities.
The charity is run purely by volunteers and any member of the emergency services can of their help. Funds for the charity are made up of fundraising events and donations. Operation Florian have personnel trained in all aspects of Emergency Fire and Rescue disaster techniques such as:
Operation Florian have applied these skills over the years with both municipal civil authorities and military units with global success.
