Three major fire services within the UK have now purchased the FLIR K1 situational awareness cameras from Terberg DTS UK Fire and Rescue Division.
The FLIR K1 camera is designed to allow officers to quickly compete a 360 assessment of the fire scene. The camera displays 160 x 120 pixel image that allows the user to gain additional situational awareness that is not possible with the naked eye.
The camera can store up to 10,000 images. The camera takes both a radiometric IR image and a visual image of the scene simultaneously for easier interpretation for fire investigation. Rugged and easy to use the durable camera comes complete with a light weight pack for storage.
The FLIR K1 camera is pocket portable and can be easy attached to a belt, this camera is proven to be a very successful camera to the local fire services.
