Earlier this year Terberg Fire and Rescue Division supplied Birmingham Airport with some cutting edge Oshkosh 6X6 Strikers equipped with the ground breaking Snozzle technology.
Snozzles are fitted as standard on many Striker aircraft rescue and fire fighting (ARFF vehicles), and since buying the turret line Oshkosh has added new features for better dependability and reliability. The first latest-generation Snozzle HRET was delivered in June.
Troy Padgett, Snozzle product director at Oshkosh Airport Products said, “this technology sets us apart from our competitors since it offers additional features. It’s like taking a Swiss Army Knife to a fire versus a butter knife”.
