
Terberg DTS (UK) Ltd, based in Halifax, West Yorkshire has announced that, with effect from 16th February 2013, it has purchased outright the business of C.A.T. 9 Ltd, based in Bromyard, Herefordshire, UK.
Terberg DTS (UK) Ltd, a global supplier of specialist vehicles and support, has made the strategic purchase of privately owned company C.A.T.9 from its current owners David Bull and Mark Morris. C.A.T.9 was established in 2005 and has an excellent reputation within the civilian and military sectors for the support of specialist airfield and industrial fire fighting vehicles throughout the UK and overseas territories.
Terberg DTS (UK) Ltd identified C.A.T.9 as an excellent opportunity for its continued growth and development of the specialist fire and rescue sector, which sits within its current well-established specialist vehicle business. With a turnover in the region of £30 million per annum, Terberg DTS is able to supply a full range of services to this specialist sector and will further enhance the services provided by C.A.T.9 through new vehicle sales, hire, leasing, scheduled and VOR service support as well as accident damage repairs. The Fire and Rescue Division will primarily operate from Terberg DTS’s head office at Halifax, West Yorkshire, with additional support from satellite depots at Worcester and Gloucester.
