Terberg DTS recently exhibited several of our vehicles at the prestigious CV Show 2016, where they received much interested attention. Attending such events is an essential way of keeping our finger firmly on the pulse of new developments whilst ensuring that our own innovations are brought to the attention of the wider market, from where they can begin doing the job they were designed for – saving lives and property.
Leading the Terberg DTS showcase at this year’s CV Show was our innovative DT 183, which is the market-specific, specialist distribution tractor that we launched last year to critical acclaim. The vehicle has been purpose-designed and manufactured by us to meet the complex market needs of the pan-European distribution sector, which is particularly competitive. To meet these demands, an array of brand new, industry-specific product features have been developed for the DT 183 distribution tractor.
Powertrain based on the new diesel engine from Cummins – the Tier 4 Final – with more options currently in development and coming soon. We never rest on our laurels here at Terberg and are always working hard to ensure that an optimal range of options is available to our diverse blend of customers
Powerful yet precise Allison gearbox for the smoothest and most reliable transmission
Comprehensive array of safety and ergonomic features, including stylish, state-of-the-art cab design for maximum visibility and the lowest operational noise levels to be found on the market
Also on the Terberg stand at CV Show 2016 was the latest Kinglifter forklift truck – the M-type, which is widely considered to be the best all-rounder from the range due to its many variants which ensure versatility. These vehicles are becoming more and more a common sight as their popularity increases and our MD Alisdair Couper said: “2016 is an exciting time for Terberg DTS and, at the show this year, visitors to our stand got a first-hand demonstration of how Terberg, through its policy of constantly developing a proven product range, are able to present them with new, innovative and attractive solutions to their vehicle and materials handling requirements.”
