Terberg DTS has been recognised by the West Yorkshire Fire Service for its continued support to help train the regions Fire Fighters to the highest standard.
Terberg DTS regularly supplies specialist vehicles and equipment to West Yorkshire Fire Service to aid training for heavy vehicle lifting and critical accident simulation, the equipment allows the fire fighters to train under more realistic circumstances so they are well drilled should the simulation become a reality.
Richard Mawson of West Yorkshire Fire Service presented Alisdair Couper, Managing Director of Terberg DTS with a certificate of recognition, adding, “Without the continued support from Terberg DTS and the loaning of equipment to the Rescue Service Training Centre for the RTC instructor courses, the training would be very difficult to carry out and unrealistic. The equipment loaned goes a long way to improve the safety of the operational crews of West Yorkshire.”
