According to Alisdair Couper, Managing Director, Terberg Fire and Rescue, “These brand new vehicles are completely self-sufficient and their detailed specification and high equipment levels give us the facility to check, inspect, service and repair vehicles, either on customer premises or out on the road. In addition, they provide our technicians the latest in safety and comfort.”
Sporting the latest Terberg Fire and Rescue livery, these self-contained mobile service units represent a very high level of investment and supplement the established service centres in Gloucester and Halifax. The vehicles are all fitted with a comprehensive tracker system which enables Terberg’s service controllers to monitor the vehicle’s position and direct the nearest technician to any customer’s call for assistance.
“Our service operation has expanded year-on-year to form a significant operation within the company. As a result, we have developed a nationwide structure to support these services, of which the MSU’s are a valuable asset that enhances the speed of response and quality of service that we can provide to our customers,” added Alistair Couper.
