Fire Engine Hire – Our Dedicated Fleet

The Terberg DTS (UK) Fire and Rescue Division offer a diverse and constantly-changing array of fire engines for hire on a short- or long-term basis, operating one of the largest fleet of vehicles in the UK, we  are able to provide a range of Airport Fire appliances from a CAT 1 4×4 pick up type appliance, through to purpose built 10,000 litre 6×6 appliances, on the domestic front we have a range of appliances from the  standard Dennis B type water tenders through to Isuzu based 4×4 light pumping appliances.

All  our hire vehicles are fully supported by our 24/7 service departments based in Gloucester or Halifax, as part of our support package we provide on-site operator training both operationally and for the routine maintenance checks. In addition each appliance is delivered with appropriate certification for foam quality, supplementary media certification and service records.

Dennis is one of the most-recognised makes of fire engine and the Dennis Sabre XL is one of their signature vehicles. Built to last in 1997, this stunning truck has a 6-speed automatic gearbox and a roomy cabin that can easily accommodate a crew of six. The dual-pressure pumps are capable of ejecting 2700 LPM of water and an 1,800-litre capacity means this vehicle is suitable for most applications

The Reynolds Broughton Barracuda Snozzle is a seriously heavy-duty vehicle, with an outstanding 10,000-litre capacity water tank and additional foam tank of 1,200 litres – these extinguishing materials are pumped using a GVB5410 that has an output of 3,500 LPM with a 53 ft height and a 25 ft reach.. The powerful CAT18100cc engine means that this vehicle can get where it needs to be fast, and can easily handle the job when it gets there.
