Following a full procurement process, Suppliers were asked to tender against the specification and provided cameras that they felt met this. Submissions were made by four suppliers including Terberg DTS with the Flir K55 camera. As part of the evaluation process, the evaluators ensured that their mandatory and TIC requirements met the criteria. These trials took place in on the 20th February 2020.

The top camera in performance and cost was the FLIR K55 which was duly awarded the tender.

The cameras were assessed against the specification required by Avon Fire and Rescue Service and scored accordingly.
